TSAWWASSEN SUNFEST MIXED TRIPLES TOURNAMENT
On Saturday, August 3rd 2019, the Tsawwassen Lawn Bowling Club hosted the third annual Tsawwassen Sunfest Mixed Triples Tournament. Sixteen teams, comprised of 28 men and 20 women, participated. Clubs came from Richmond, White Rock, South Surrey, Vancouver (which sent teams from three different clubs), Langley, and of course, Tsawwassen.

On a warm sunny day the teams each played four games. At the end of a long but satisfying day a team from Richmond Lawn Bowling Club, captained by Paul Choi, emerged victorious and received the first place prize money and the coveted Sunfest Trophy. Bob Tate, chairman of the Sun Festival Organizing Committee, was on hand to present the trophy and the prize money.

All of the teams expressed gratitude to the Tsawwassen Sun Festival for its generous sponsorship of this event. The Tsawwassen Lawn Bowling Club also expresses its gratitude to the Tsawwassen Sun Festival and looks forward to being a part of the great Sun Festival weekend for years to come.
