20 teams compete for fun, hardware and prizes over the three day long weekend at Winskill Park during the Tsawwassen Sun Festival! BEER GARDEN IS ON SITE ALL WEEKEND

2024 TSAWWASSEN SUN FESTIVAL SLO-PITCH TOURNAMENT AT WINSKILL PARK

 

The Tsawwassen Sun Festival Slo-pitch Tournament consists of 20 teams and runs for 3 days. Round Robin play is on Saturday and Sunday with the playoffs and beer round on Monday. The top three teams from Divisions 1 & 2 and the top two teams from Division 3 will play off in the trophy round. The top two teams from Division 4 and two wild card teams will playoff in the beer round. Trophies, gift certificates, MVP prizes and beer will be awarded at the end of the tournament on Monday afternoon.

TOURNAMENT TIMES - 2024

Saturday, August 2nd - 10:00 am - 5:30 pm 

Sunday, August 3rd - 10:00 am - 5:30 pm (Round Robin) 

Monday, August 4th - 9:00 am - 5:30 pm (Playoffs and Beer Round) 

All teams will play on the same field for the weekend.

DECIDING DIVISIONAL CHAMPS AND BEER ROUND

• Two points will be given for each win and zero points for each loss. 

• Ties - two way tie decided by head to head. Three way tie decided by least runs against 

• After round robin - Playoff Round - top 3 teams from Division 1 & 2 plus top 2 teams from Division 3 

• Beer Round - top 2 teams from Division 4 plus 2 wild card teams (from Divisions 3 or 4)

Field #5 will be used on Monday.

Important Notice: Beer is only served in the beer garden which is a fenced off area. Drinking alcohol on the Festival Grounds away from the beer garden is strictly prohibited and will result in a $200 fine from the City of Delta
